Requiring sign-in for comments ... it had to happen
February 12, 2006

Hi, everyone. Having a lovely blizzard here in NY -- it's really beautiful outside (when seen from my warm, cozy apartment, that is :) But, that's not the reason for this post ...

After that post last week about getting slammed with spam comments, it just got worse. I have to do something, so I'm asking folks to sign-in to TypeKey in order to comment. TypeKey is a free service that does not require you to share any personal information in order to register ... so it seems like the easiest way to go.

Note: If you have posted a comment in the past week that you don't see, please repost -- as I might have accidentally deleted it when stripping the mass of spam comments from this site.

You'll see a new link when you comment asking you to sign-in or register for a free TypeKey account. You can also get more info on TypeKey from that link, if you are at all uncomfortable about this.

Happy Sunday everybody! And, if you're in the Northeast U.S., enjoy the snow!
