Thanks to everyone who made it to my tips & tricks webcast today on complex legal documents in Word. For those who would have liked to, but didn't get a chance, check back here in the next day or two for a link to view the recorded version on-demand. (I'll add a link under my Webcast listings on the far-right column of this page.)
Meanwhile -- as promised, below are links to articles on this site that will review content from some of the topics I covered today, as well as some review of basics, as promised. And, I've included links for the additional resources mentioned at the end of the webcast as well.
Also -- check back by tomorrow for a new post about using LISTNUM fields with outline numbering -- which I will cover in my advanced legal tips & tricks session in July.
Meanwhile, here are those article links:
Word Philosophy 101
Learning to Love Word Tables
Finding the Simple Solution
The Lesser Known Benefits of Table Styles
Determining Default Template & Style Standards
And the additional resources links:
Microsoft At Work -- lots of great content about a variety of Microsoft technologies. A few of my articles that you'll find on this site can also help with complex document issues -- including 12 Tips for Better Documents and Timesaving Tips for Getting Your Work Done.

Hi Steph, I missed the legal assistant course in Word and saw you are offering it again in July. Can you tell me the date and when it will be posted to sign-up? Thanks.

Hi, Kelly,
Thanks for asking! The webcast in July won't be a repeat -- it will be a new set of more advanced tips -- following on yesterday's session.
You can view a recorded version of yesterday's on-demand. I'll have that link to post by tomorrow -- and will post it in the right-hand column of my main blog page under Webcast links. I will also post the link to the July session in a new article post as soon as the link is available -- that event will be on July 12th.
Best,
Steph
