Editing Nested Tables (Word)
August 02, 2004

If you have trouble selecting the host table when working with nested tables, try this:

1 - Place your insertion point at the end of any content in the last cell in the last row of the nested table.
2 - Press the right arrow key twice.

Your insertion point will then be in the host table (If it looks like the host table got taller -- don't worry! It's just making room for your insertion point and will go back to it's actual size when your insertion point is no longer there.)
