TO ASK A QUESTION: If you have a question or need help with Office, please feel free to use the 'Click to Contact' link at the bottom of this page. You'll get a form that you can use to email a question to me. (I had been getting a ton of spam when accepting direct emails, so only emails that use this form will get through to me.)
Please be sure to mention the version of Office you are using when you send your question.
I answer all e-mails that I receive via this form, as long as they are polite :)
Since disabling comments on this site, I'm actually hearing from more of you with questions ... so, as it seems people prefer to email rather than comment, I'm going to leave comments disabled. As always, you can ask me any Office-related questions you have. If the question is outside of my expertise, I'll try to direct you to where you can get an answer.
Belated post on round-tripping documents - and WLUG follow-up
Hi, everyone! A couple of weeks ago, I had the pleasure of talking to a group of folks from NYC law firms about round-tripping documents between Office 2007 and earlier Office versions. I promised a follow-up post to come shortly after that presentation and I apologize for the delay in getting that posted.
What I'd like to do in this post is to invite questions from those who attended that session - and anyone else who would like to join the discussion - related to round-tripping documents. If I left a question of yours unanswered in that session, if you didn't attend the session, or if new questions have arisen since ... use the Click to Contact link at the bottom of this page and send them. (and you don't have to be from a law firm or from NYC to join in :)
Coming up on December 6th, I'll be giving an Office System Tips & Tricks webcast on the subject. Any questions I receive by December 2nd will either be answered by email or answered in that session (or both, as appropriate to the question). If you send the question after the 2nd, I'll still reply to you of course :) but I won't necessarily be able to incorporate your question into the webcast.
...and, if you wanted to attend that WLUG meeting but were unable to do so, join the webcast on December 6th for quite a bit of what you missed.
As with all Microsoft Office System webcasts, this event is free and open to everyone. If you do register, and you haven't (very) recently attended a Microsoft Office LiveMeeting session, I recommend logging in early that day, so that you have time to download the new version of LiveMeeting. It's free, of course, but you may need to download and install it (or use the Web Console version) in order to join the session, depending on what version of LiveMeeting is currently installed on your computer. Here's the link to register:

Meanwhile, happy Tuesday ... and happy Thanksgiving everyone!
