TO ASK A QUESTION: If you have a question or need help with Office, please feel free to use the 'Click to Contact' link at the bottom of this page. You'll get a form that you can use to email a question to me. (I had been getting a ton of spam when accepting direct emails, so only emails that use this form will get through to me.)
Please be sure to mention the version of Office you are using when you send your question.
I answer all e-mails that I receive via this form, as long as they are polite :)
Since disabling comments on this site, I'm actually hearing from more of you with questions ... so, as it seems people prefer to email rather than comment, I'm going to leave comments disabled. As always, you can ask me any Office-related questions you have. If the question is outside of my expertise, I'll try to direct you to where you can get an answer.
Hello again! ... and an update on help requests ...
Hi, everyone! Well, I'm back in action and pretty much caught up now ... So, if you've sent me a help request in the past few weeks and I didn't answer it, you can assume I missed it and send it again if the question is still outstanding. This week, however, is pretty hectic - so replies may still be slow (or I may refer you elsewhere if I don't have the time right away to explore your issue.)
On that note - I'm shortly going to be changing over the method I use for accepting questions. Direct email is not working great for me, because the amount of spam is just horrible. So, I'll be replacing the click to contact link's email with a contact form very soon (well, I won't - the talented designer who does blog stuff for me will be doing it :) That form will use a different email address than the one currently posted in the click to contact links ... and I'll be phasing the current address out entirely. I'll post again when that change is implemented.
Meanwhile, while email is still the ticket -- just a couple of quick notes to help your email get to me:
- please don't send unsolicited attachments. I can't open them under any circumstances and, depending on the attachment, my spam filter may automatically delete your email before I even see it.
- please don't put high priority exclamation points on your email. Besides the fact that it's kinda rude to mark your mail as urgent when emailing someone who's volunteering their help :) ... my spam filter will automatically delete it, since that email address is used only for questions and lots of phishing mail uses the red exclam symbol.
That said ... look forward to hearing from you...
Meanwhile, happy Monday everybody!
