Hi, all! Thanks to everyone who took the time to attend today's PowerPoint 2007 session. For those who didn't get the chance but wanted to, the on-demand version should be available by tomorrow. Meanwhile - for everyone who attended, following are some additional resources, as promised:
- First ... an answer to that momentary brain freeze I had ... to access the drawing guides ... on the Home tab, click Arrange, point to Align, then click Grid Settings for the familiar Grid and Guides dialog box. I recommend putting this one on your Quick Access Toolbar if you use it as often as I do, since it's a bit buried ... to do that, right-click Grid Settings and then click Add To Quick Access Toolbar.
... now, for those additional resources. My post from yesterday saying that it was the last day of the beta site turns out to be wrong info -- I don't know the definite end date, but the beta links are still available right now...
Go to: www.microsoft.com/office/preview to get the beta or take the online test drive. You can also click the Community Link in the navigation pane at that site for lots of articles on a variety of topics from myself and other Microsoft Office authors.
Check out the Office Online beta site for help, online training, and lots of resources on the 2007 release:
www.officebeta.iponet.net
Or, go directly to the PowerPoint 2007 Help and How-To page on the Office Online beta site
Echo Swinford is a PowerPoint MVP who has a terrific website with lots of good info on PowerPoint 2007 (and then some) ... here's the direct link to Echo's 2007 content
... for more information on my books, including my upcoming Advanced Microsoft Office Documents 2007 Edition Inside Out, click the 'my books' link in the navigation pane on this page.
... and please join me next week for a level 300 webcast on creating Visio 2007 Professional diagrams using Excel 2007 data ... Let the data do the dirty work!
Finally - if you have a question I didn't answer, or need resources for a topic that I didn't provide - just post a comment and I'll respond as soon as possible. Please add your comment to whatever my most recent blog post is, regardless of the topic, so that it's easy for you to find again to get the response ...
Meanwhile ... Happy Thursday everybody!
