TO ASK A QUESTION: If you have a question or need help with Office, please feel free to use the 'Click to Contact' link at the bottom of this page. You'll get a form that you can use to email a question to me. (I had been getting a ton of spam when accepting direct emails, so only emails that use this form will get through to me.)
Please be sure to mention the version of Office you are using when you send your question.
I answer all e-mails that I receive via this form, as long as they are polite :)
Since disabling comments on this site, I'm actually hearing from more of you with questions ... so, as it seems people prefer to email rather than comment, I'm going to leave comments disabled. As always, you can ask me any Office-related questions you have. If the question is outside of my expertise, I'll try to direct you to where you can get an answer.
Office 2007 webcast tomorrow! XML file formats ...
Hi, everyone! I'm back and super busy, as expected :) Very excited about a webcast I'm giving tomorrow -- my first on Office 2007. This one will address the new XML file formats ... what you (the power user who is not a programmer) can do with them.
Please join me! Thursday (15th) at 9am Pacific, 12pm Eastern. It's a level 300 session -- meaning it's intended for advanced Office users. But, as long as you have a sense of adventure, feel pretty confident with Office, and enjoy cool technology -- I think you'll have fun with this session. Particularly if you've not yet seen how you can 'break into' your own files in Office 2007 and what you can do when you get there ...
Here's the registration link: Tips and Tricks for the 2007 Microsoft Office System: What You Can Do with the New XML File Formats (Level 300) Look forward to seeing you there!
Note: If you have trouble getting audio when you log in to the LiveMeeting session, post a question in the Q&A panel requesting the 800 number to dial in and listen by phone -- then watch that panel as the producer will post the number back to you.
Also note: If you have not attended a LiveMeeting session recently, log in a few minutes early to give LiveMeeting a chance to install or update on your system. It's free, of course, but can take a few minutes. (Also -- if, like me, you recently moved over to the Vista beta operating system -- give it a few extra minutes as installing LiveMeeting on Vista works but can be a bit persnickity at first in my experience ;-)
Happy Wednesday everyone!

Hi Stephanie: Enjoyed your webcast this morning - great job. I have a new found concern because swithched my system to the new B2 product and removed my 2003 files due to the slowness and constant hanging.
Can I reinstall the 2003 version as a backup?
Thanks again, Harold
