TO ASK A QUESTION: If you have a question or need help with Office, please feel free to use the 'Click to Contact' link at the bottom of this page. You'll get a form that you can use to email a question to me. (I had been getting a ton of spam when accepting direct emails, so only emails that use this form will get through to me.)
Please be sure to mention the version of Office you are using when you send your question.
I answer all e-mails that I receive via this form, as long as they are polite :)
Since disabling comments on this site, I'm actually hearing from more of you with questions ... so, as it seems people prefer to email rather than comment, I'm going to leave comments disabled. As always, you can ask me any Office-related questions you have. If the question is outside of my expertise, I'll try to direct you to where you can get an answer.
I'm a happy eBay newbie!
Well, I've never shopped eBay before this week. Always sounded a bit dodgy to me (yeah, I know I'm behind the times :) But, then I wanted an unlocked air card for my laptop, and some friends said that was the best place to look. I'm blogging about it now because I'm so impressed with the experience.
I can clearly see from some of the listings that you have to be careful about who you buy from -- but my experience was like shopping at Saks from a service and quality point of view (and those who know me, know how deeply I revere Saks ;)
After sending me the Fedex tracking number on the same day that I bought the item -- the seller also offered to help me set up the card after I receive it. I got the item today. It was better than in perfect condition -- in addition to being pristine and in its original packaging ... the seller included a CD with the install software and manuals -- as well as an extra page of instructions on how to set up.
I will shop eBay again. And, I'll buy from this fella again for sure if I get the chance. If you're in the market for an air card (not sure what other stuff he's selling) check out seller ID scmguru. Speaking as the New Yorker that I am (we NY'ers take service very seriously :) -- I can think of a few high-end retailers who could take a lesson from this guy ...
Happy Friday and happy shopping everybody :)
