TO ASK A QUESTION: If you have a question or need help with Office, please feel free to use the 'Click to Contact' link at the bottom of this page. You'll get a form that you can use to email a question to me. (I had been getting a ton of spam when accepting direct emails, so only emails that use this form will get through to me.)
Please be sure to mention the version of Office you are using when you send your question.
I answer all e-mails that I receive via this form, as long as they are polite :)
Since disabling comments on this site, I'm actually hearing from more of you with questions ... so, as it seems people prefer to email rather than comment, I'm going to leave comments disabled. As always, you can ask me any Office-related questions you have. If the question is outside of my expertise, I'll try to direct you to where you can get an answer.
3 Webcasts Coming Up!
Hi, all! Just a quick note to let you know that I'm giving three Microsoft Office System webcasts in the next 2 weeks ... they're level 200 sessions on Word documents, Excel charts, and PowerPoint diagrams respectively. Please join me!
And note that ... when you go to register, you'll see that these sessions say that they're for administrative assistants, but that just means they're for busy people who need to do this stuff all the time :) Whatever your job role, please check it out -- there are tips here for anyone who uses Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to create documents.
Here are the details:
(Time for all events is 9am Pacific, Noon Eastern -- and all of these events are level 200)
Tuesday (Apr 26th): Complex Documents Made Simple
Thursday (Apr 28th): Complex Excel Charts Made Simple
Thursday (May 5th): How to Create Professional PowerPoint Diagrams in No Time
IMPORTANT TECH NOTE: If you haven't attended a LiveMeeting webcast or event since they upgraded to LiveMeeting 2005 last month, it will take a few minutes to login and get your audio set up for the webcast. Simple to do -- but please check in for webcast a bit early, so that you have a chance to get your version of LiveMeeting upgraded (it's free, of course) and be all set before we begin. Not sure if you need to do this? No problem -- if you need the upgrade, you'll be notified automatically when you try to join the webcast. So, just give yourself a few extra minutes. And, remember that if you have trouble getting audio -- the producer is there to help you --and she can also give you a call-in number to listen on the phone instead.
Look forward to seeing you all there!
